Hannah Chambers leaves for ITF/Grand Slam Development Fund 3-week tour

Hannah Chambers on her way to Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic compliments ITF/Grand Slam Development Fund.

Sixteen (16) year-old St. Michael student and junior tennis player, Hannah Chambers departed Barbados today, Thursday, February 27 for a 3-week tour to Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic to play in U18 grade 3 and 2-grade 2 tournaments as part of the COTECC U17 Touring Team compliments ITF and the Grand Slam Development Fund.

Hannah, who has a current ITF junior ranking of 434 and a UTR of 9.45 going into these tournaments had this to say about the opportunity before her: ” I am very excited about this opportunity provided by the ITF/Grand Slam Development Fund. Playing in these tournaments will certainly help me to improve my game. They will allow me to showcase my skill and put it to the test.  I would like to thank the Grand Slam Development Fund for giving me this wonderful opportunity to fine-tuned my tennis and develop as a player”.
