The Junior Tennis Committee, presently chaired by Mrs. Marie-Jeanne Symmonds, oversees the running of all junior competitions, local and international, held at the National Tennis Centre. This committee also handles all arrangements related to the junior national teams identified by the Selection Committee to represent Barbados in tennis.

U14 WJTC 2023- Ethan Warner, Dimitri Kirton, Ammon Archer, Damien Applewhaite (Captain)
During the first quarter the Committee offered two junior teams the opportunity to gain invaluable tennis experience, by attending the premiere team championships for their age groups, namely the:
- World Junior Tennis Championship (WJTC) Team held in Dominican Republic (March 6 – 11)
- Junior Davis Cup (JDC) Team held in Guatemala (February 27 – March 4)
Director of Tennis, Damien Applewhaite shared “We are incredibly proud of all the hard work and dedication our young athletes have shown throughout these tournaments. They gained invaluable experience and represented our country with pride. Congratulations to everyone involved!”
