The prize giving for the 2008 NASSCO/Fortress junior series of tournaments held in June and November was held at the National Tennis Centre on Saturday, December 20, 2008. 

Messrs Roger Hill and Roger Cave – managing directors of NASSCO and Fortress Caribbean respectively were on hand to present the trophies and other prizes to winners and runners up in the singles and doubles events.

We are very pleased to announce that the Barbados Tennis Association has signed a two year contract with B&B Distribution whereby we will endorse PowerAde as the official Isotonic/Energy drink of our Association and B&B will be a co-sponsor of our junior tournaments, providing us with product, (Powerade & water), promotional items, T-shirts, tents, bleachers as well as an injection of cash each year.    

Please note that the draw date for our Grand Raffle is rapidly approaching!!

If you have not yet purchased your tickets, please advise by return e-mail how many you would like to buy and we will arrange to get them to you!

Tickets will also be on sale at St Michael's School fair this Saturday November 29 between 10.00am and 6.00pm.

If you have already sold tickets and want more to sell, do let us know too!

However, we only have 5 weeks to go, so please return all ticket stubs and monies as soon as you can - let us know by return e-mail where best to pick up from you.

The draw date is DECEMBER 31, 2008 - we still have a lot of tickets left to sell to raise much needed funds for upgrading the National Tennis Centre and to go towards junior tennis development in Barbados, so all help is much appreciated.
